An established engineering and infrastructure business is seeking an experienced Site Manager to oversee the delivery of wastewater and civil engineering projects. Reporting to the Project Manager, you will manage day-to-day site operations, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time and to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage site activities, subcontractors and multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Coordinate civil, mechanical, electrical and commissioning works.
- Oversee project programmes, quality documentation and client KPIs.
- Prepare and approve RAMS, construction phase plans and site documentation.
- Conduct health, safety and environmental inspections.
- Manage site performance, environmental compliance and project reporting.
- Maintain project records using CEMAR and ProjectWise.
Experience & Qualifications
- Proven Site Management experience within wastewater and civil engineering.
- Experience with confined spaces, detention tanks and shaft construction.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety and environmental regulations.
- SMSTS (SSSTS minimum).
- Confined Space, Street Works, First Aid and Water Hygiene training.
- Temporary Works Supervisor/Coordinator experience advantageous.
- Strong communication, leadership and organisational skills.
Salary & Benefits
- £45,000-£50,000 per annum.
