The Role
A newly established and fast-growing BMS specialist company is already making its mark, winning competitive tenders and building a strong reputation in the market. The foundations are there β trusted engineers, technical delivery capability, and an increasing pipeline of work. Now, the business is ready for the next stage of growth: building a dedicated sales function.
This is a hands-on Sales Manager position where your voice matters and your impact is visible. You\\\βll work directly with the Managing Director, helping shape how the company wins work, grows relationships, and positions itself in the BMS market.
You\\\βll have the freedom to approach the market your way, use your network, and help build the structure, strategy, and direction of the sales side of the business. For the right person, this role offers a genuine pathway toward future directorship and equity β a chance to grow with the company, not sit on the sidelines.
If you\\\βre someone who wants autonomy, responsibility, and the opportunity to help build something from the ground up, this is that opportunity.

- Opening doors and creating new business opportunities within the BMS market
- Using your industry contacts to generate leads and tender opportunities

- Supporting pricing, proposals, and commercial submissions
- Helping shape sales strategy, processes, and how the function evolves
- Playing a key role in the overall growth and direction of the company
Why This Opportunity Stands Out
- You join at an early stage and genuinely influence how the business grows
- Direct access to decision-making β no corporate layers
- Clear pathway toward future directorship and company shares (performance dependent, typically after ~12 months)
- Real autonomy β trusted to build and develop the sales division
- A strong tender pipeline already in place, giving you a platform to build from
What We\βre Looking For
- Experience within the BMS / Building Controls industry
- Sales, business development, or client-facing experience (service or projects background also considered)
- Strong industry contacts (mechanical contractors, main contractors, consultants, or supply chain)
- Knowledge of BMS platforms such as Tridium and Trend highly beneficial
- Confident meeting clients and representing a growing business
- Commercial awareness and ability to contribute to pricing and tenders
- Self-motivated, ambitious, and comfortable in a growing, fast-moving environment
- Personable, relationship-led, and a strong cultural fit
