Job Description: We are looking for a skilled and experienced BMS Installer to join a team, working on a variety of projects across education and healthcare sites in Manchester. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in Building Management Systems (BMS) installation. As a BMS Installer, you will be responsible for the installation, wiring, and commissioning support of BMS systems to ensure that buildings are energy-efficient, functional, and meet the client’s specifications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on critical projects that enhance building performance, improve sustainability, and support essential services. Key Responsibilities: Installation of BMS hardware including sensors, controllers, and network devices for various building systems (HVAC, lighting, security, etc.). Cabling and wiring of BMS components according to project specifications and electrical standards. Assist in the commissioning process, working alongside BMS engineers to bring systems online and validate their performance. Collaborate with project managers, electricians, and other trades to ensure smooth progress and integration with other building systems. Adhere to health and safety regulations on all project sites, ensuring compliance at all times. Provide basic system support and troubleshooting during the installation phase. Maintain accurate installation records and ensure timely project completion. Required Skills and Experience: Previous experience in BMS installation. Strong knowledge of building control systems, including HVAC systems and associated controls. Electrical knowledge with experience in wiring, cabling, and system integration. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, wiring schematics, and installation manuals. Experience working on education and/or healthcare projects is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work. Excellent communication skills for collaborating with various project teams and stakeholders. Ability to work independently and as part of a larger project team. Qualifications: Relevant qualifications in Electrical Installation or Building Services (NVQ, C&G, or equivalent). BMS-related certification is desirable but not essential. A valid CSCS card or equivalent safety certification is required
