We're looking for an experienced BMS Commissioning Engineer to join a major project at Manchester Airport. This is a great opportunity for a skilled engineer to get involved in a long-term contract delivering high-profile infrastructure work. The role will be focused on commissioning rather than software development, so a background in hands-on testing and commissioning of BMS systems is key.
Role Responsibilities:- Commissioning BMS systems on a large-scale infrastructure site
- Running functional tests, I/O checks, and point-to-point testing
- Fault-finding and resolution on live systems
- Liaising with software engineers and site teams to ensure systems are delivered to specification
- Providing commissioning support and documentation for project handover
- Proven experience as a BMS Commissioning Engineer
- Comfortable working with a variety of BMS systems; experience with Delta Controls is advantageous but not essential
- Strong understanding of HVAC and building services controls
- Able to interpret technical drawings and commissioning documents
- ECS/CSCS card (or equivalent) preferred
- Must be eligible to work in the UK
- Duration: 6 months, with potential for extension
- IR35 Status: Outside IR35
- Location: Manchester Airport - site-based
- Hours: Full-time, with occasional weekend availability depending on project needs
