Vantage Consulting is recruiting for an experienced BMS Applications Engineer to join a leading Building Management Systems specialist with a strong pipeline of projects across the North East.

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity for a BMS Applications Engineer looking to work on a variety of projects across commercial, healthcare, education and industrial sectors. Working in a hybrid role, you'll split your time between home, customer sites and project locations across the North East. As a BMS Applications Engineer, you'll be involved in the full project lifecycle, from system design and software development through to commissioning and project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Engineering and commissioning Building Management Systems
  • Developing BMS software and graphics
  • Delivering small works and project upgrades
  • Carrying out site surveys and supporting system design
  • Managing project delivery, programmes and budgets
  • Coordinating subcontractors and internal engineering teams
  • Providing technical support and fault finding when required

About You

We're looking for a BMS Applications Engineer with:

  • Experience engineering and commissioning BMS systems
  • Strong knowledge of Trend, IQ Vision, Siemens and Tridium/Niagara
  • Experience developing BMS software and graphics
  • An Electrical or Electronic Engineering background
  • A full UK driving licence
  • ECS, CSCS or JIB accreditation (desirable)
  • Experience with BACnet, Modbus, SIPP, Cylon or other BMS platforms would be advantageous.
