Job Title: AV Engineer (Contract Role)

Rate: £250 – £300 a day

We are seeking a skilled AV Engineer to join on a contract basis to deliver innovative audiovisual solutions for a variety of projects. As part of a collaborative team, you will play a critical role in designing, installing, and maintaining AV systems that enhance communication and collaboration for our clients.

Key Responsibilities

1. System Design & Integration: Assist with designing and deploying AV solutions tailored to client requirements. Handle installation and optimization of AV systems.
2. Technical Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to AV hardware, software, and network connectivity.
3. Project Delivery: Manage your time effectively to meet project milestones and deliverables.
4. Client Interaction: Provide on-site technical support and guidance to clients, ensuring they can maximize the use of their AV systems.
5. Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including system diagrams and project documentation, to ensure seamless handovers.

Skills & Experience

Essential:

1. Proven experience in AV engineering, including system design and installation.
2. Expertise in AV technologies, including control systems (e.g., Crestron, Extron, AMX), video conferencing platforms (e.g., Zoom, Microsoft Teams), and professional audio systems.
3. Strong understanding of signal flow, networking, and system integration.
4. Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
5. Effective communication skills for collaborating with teams and clients.

Desirable:

1. Relevant certifications such as CTS, CTS-D, or CTS-I.
2. Familiarity with design tools like AutoCAD or similar.
3. Experience delivering projects in corporate, education, or live-event settings.
