We are seeking an experienced BMS Service Engineer with strong Tridium Niagara expertise to join a growing and well-established BMS specialist on a permanent basis. This is a field-based role requiring extensive travel throughout the UK. The successful candidate must be comfortable travelling nationwide on a regular basis, including frequent overnight stays where required. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer who enjoys working across a variety of sites and being at the forefront of diagnosing and resolving complex BMS issues.
The Role
The primary focus of the role is service, maintenance, fault finding and optimisation of Tridium Niagara-based BMS installations. You will act as a technical specialist, supporting customers across commercial and critical environments, ensuring systems continue to operate efficiently and reliably. Whilst service experience is essential, engineers with commissioning experience will be highly desirable.
Key Responsibilities
- Service, maintain and support Tridium Niagara 4 BMS installations.
- Diagnose and rectify software, controls, network and field device faults.
- Carry out system modifications, upgrades and optimisation works.
- Modify graphics, alarms, trends and control strategies.
- Deliver planned and reactive maintenance activities.
- Provide remote and on-site technical support to customers.
- Produce service reports and recommendations.
- Support commissioning activities when required.
- Travel extensively throughout the UK to support customer sites.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Tridium Niagara 4.
- Proven BMS service and fault-finding background.
- Ability to interrogate, modify and optimise Niagara systems.
- Good understanding of HVAC plant and building services.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Comfortable with nationwide travel and regular stays away from home.
Desirable
- Tridium Niagara Certification.
- Previous BMS commissioning experience.
- Experience with other BMS platforms.
- 18th Edition or relevant electrical qualifications.
