Electrical Engineer / Assembler - Contract
Location: Doncaster
Rate: £25-£28 per hour
Contract: 3-month rolling contract
IR35: Outside IR35 or Umbrella
I'm currently recruiting for an Electrical Engineer / Assembler for a contract opportunity based in Doncaster.
This is a hands-on role suited to someone with experience in electrical assembly, wiring, panel building and electrical engineering within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
The Role
- Electrical assembly and wiring of equipment/systems
- Reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics
- Building and assembling electrical components
- Testing, fault-finding and identifying electrical issues
- Working to engineering drawings, specifications and quality standards
- Supporting the wider engineering and production team
The Candidate
We're looking for someone with:
- Previous experience in electrical engineering, electrical assembly or panel building
- Ability to read and understand electrical schematics
- Strong hands-on assembly and wiring skills
- Experience working in a manufacturing/engineering environment
- Good attention to detail and a quality-focused approach
- Relevant electrical/engineering qualifications would be advantageous
Rate: £25-£28 per hour
Contract: Initial 3 months, rolling thereafter
Engagement: Outside IR35 or Umbrella
