Food Production Operative in Wokingham

Production & Operations Operative Location: North Acton initially, moving to Wokingham (MUST drive)
Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 4:00pm
We are currently recruiting for a Production & Operations Assistant to join an established and growing business.
This is a hands-on position suited to someone with previous experience in a production, manufacturing, warehouse or similar operational environment .
The Role You will support the day-to-day running of the operation, working across production, stock and warehouse activities.
Key responsibilities will include:
Supporting daily production operations.
Operating machinery and production equipment.
Picking and packing products.
Supporting goods-in and goods-out activities.
Stock control and inventory management.
Preparing products and materials for dispatch.
Maintaining accurate records and documentation.
Ensuring work areas are kept clean, organised and safe.
Following company procedures and Health & Safety requirements.
Working to agreed production and operational targets.
Supporting different areas of the business when required.
Working closely with colleagues and management to ensure the smooth running of daily operations.
About You The successful candidate will ideally have:
Previous production or manufacturing experience .
UK Driving license and access to own vehicle
Experience within a warehouse, FMCG or fast-paced operational environment is advantageous.
A hands-on and practical approach.
Good attention to detail.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
The ability to work effectively as part of a team.
A flexible approach and willingness to learn.
The ability to work independently and take responsibility for tasks.
Good communication skills.
