Multi Drop Van Driver - High Wycombe
Vanta Staffing are currently recruiting for an experienced Multi Drop Van Driver to join our well-established client based in High Wycombe.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a reliable and hardworking driver looking for a temporary-to-permanent position, offering regular weekday work and the opportunity to secure a permanent role.
The position involves completing collections and deliveries of goods within the local area, working alongside a driver's mate when required. The role is physically demanding, so applicants must be comfortable with manual handling and heavy lifting.
Multi Drop Van Driver - Requirements
- Full UK driving licence (Category B)
- Minimum of 6 months' recent van driving experience
- Previous multi-drop delivery experience
- Comfortable with heavy lifting and manual handling
- Experience working alongside a driver's mate
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Reliable, punctual and professional approach
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good knowledge of the local area would be advantageous
Multi Drop Van Driver - Job Details
- Pay: £14.65 per hour
- Working Days: Monday to Friday
- Start Time: 07:00
- Location: High Wycombe
- Contract: Temporary to Permanent
Multi Drop Van Driver - Responsibilities
- Completing multi-drop collections and deliveries within the local area
- Loading and unloading goods safely and efficiently
- Working alongside a driver's mate when required
- Carrying out daily vehicle safety checks
- Reporting vehicle defects or maintenance concerns
- Ensuring goods are handled and transported securely
- Completing delivery paperwork accurately
- Providing excellent customer service at delivery and collection points
- Following company procedures and road safety regulations
- Managing delivery routes efficiently and safely
