Part time Minibus Driver Monday – Friday – Term time only (36 weeks) 7.00am – 8.45am and 3.45pm – 6.00pm GBP11,463 Permanent role Vanta Staffing High Wycombe are looking for a Minibus driver to provide transport services for students on designated bus routes around the Gerrards Cross area. You must have a current clean driving licence along with a valid D1 entitlement. Main duties and responsibilities of the Minibus driver are: · Driving the school vehicle, which is based, at the school. · Be responsible for the safety, comfort and welfare of the students. · Carry out drivers daily and weekly vehicle checks. · Reporting any vehicle defects, faults, incidents and accidents. · Be responsible for the cleanliness of vehicles, inside and out and ensuring the vehicle is in a clean and roadworthy condition before and after use. · Refuel the vehicle as required. · Maintain accurate records of vehicle usage, and students using the service each day. · Maintain and help to promote a good image including working attire kept in a clean and tidy condition. · Work within health and safety guidelines. · Plan alternative road routes when necessary and keeping parents informed of any changes. The requirements of the Minibus driver are: · Hold a current, clean and valid driving licence D1 unrestricted or a PSV licence. D1 restricted (car licence obtained prior to 01/01/1997) will be considered. · Capable of maintaining accurate vehicle and user records. · Competent to undertake daily and weekly vehicle checks and carry out basic maintenance. · Have a pleasant and approachable personality. · Be reliable and trustworthy. · Have a sense of responsibility and confidentiality. · Ability to communicate with a range of people. · Be willing to undertake training including MiDAS.
