Vanta Staffing are recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to work for our client based in the Reading area. This will involve trunking work, a perfect role for drivers who want consistent work with a prestigious company.

Requirements of a Class 1 Driver:

  • Minimum 18 months HGV driving (Cat C+E) recent experience.
  • Be able to complete 2-3 runs - Day work / Trunking work - Nights.
  • Have a valid CPC and digi tacho.
  • No more than 6 points (No DR or IN).

Details:

  • Salary: £18ph - Days / £19ph - Nights.
  • Working hours: Monday to Friday (05.00 am start) or (17.00 start).
  • Location: Reading.
  • Duration: Temp Ongoing work.

Role of a Class 1 Driver:

  • Complete trunking runs; trailer swapping will be involved - Nights.
  • Collections and delivery work (2-3 runs) - Days.
  • Complete vehicle checks.
  • Being flexible and able to complete runs safely.
