Production Controller

Production Controller Location: High Wycombe Salary: £30,000 per annum, Monday to Friday  Sector: Manufacturing & Engineering Vanta Staffing Are Recruiting! Vanta Staffing are currently looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Production Controller to join an established engineering and manufacturing business based in High Wycombe. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in production planning, manufacturing coordination or materials control who enjoys keeping operations organised and ensuring work progresses efficiently. You will play an important part in coordinating daily production activities, monitoring progress against deadlines and working with different departments to ensure materials, resources and schedules are aligned. The Role Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Coordinating production schedules and monitoring progress to ensure orders are completed within agreed timescales. Working with purchasing and materials teams to ensure components and supplies are available when needed. Monitoring stock levels and helping maintain an efficient flow of materials throughout production. Adjusting schedules in response to changing priorities, workload and resource availability. Maintaining accurate production records, job documentation and internal reporting. Identifying potential delays and working with colleagues to find practical solutions. Communicating progress updates and highlighting any issues that could affect delivery deadlines. Liaising with quality and engineering teams to maintain required product standards. Supporting improvements to production processes, workflow and operational efficiency. Ensuring working practices meet relevant quality, safety and industry requirements. What We're Looking For To be considered for this position, you should ideally have: Previous experience in a production control, planning or manufacturing coordination role. Familiarity with MRP or ERP systems and production planning tools. An understanding of stock control, material requirements and manufacturing processes. Knowledge of quality management systems, ideally including ISO 9001. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage several priorities at once. Excellent attention to detail and confidence working with production data. Good communication skills and the ability to work with teams across a business. A practical, proactive approach to problem-solving and meeting deadlines. What's on Offer? Salary of £30,000 per annum. A role within an established manufacturing and engineering environment.
