This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Supervisor or Manager who enjoys being involved on the shop floor, leading a small team and taking responsibility for the smooth running of a night operation. The successful candidate will combine people management with practical operational work, ensuring production and warehouse activity is delivered safely, efficiently and to the required standards. As the business continues to grow, there will also be an opportunity for the successful candidate to help develop and expand the night shift, including supporting recruitment, training, team development and the introduction of improved processes and structure. The Role As Night Shift Manager, you will take overall responsibility for the night-shift production and warehousing operation, leading by example and working alongside your team when required. Key Responsibilities Lead and supervise a small production and warehouse team throughout the night shift. Be hands-on with production, picking, packing, goods movement and general warehouse activities. Allocate work effectively according to workload, skills and priorities. Monitor workflow throughout the shift and adjust priorities to maintain productivity and deadlines. Step into operational duties during periods of increased demand, staff absence or urgent requirements. Ensure equipment, materials and work areas are prepared and organised for the shift. Monitor team attendance, timekeeping, performance and behaviour. Provide hands-on coaching, support and feedback to team members. Act as the main point of contact for the team during the night. Resolve operational issues independently and escalate where appropriate. Complete and maintain accurate paperwork, system updates and stock movements.
