Job Overview
We are currently recruiting an experienced and motivated Service Engineer / Service Technician to join our growing service team. This is a field-based role involving the servicing, maintenance, and commissioning of customer systems, with a strong focus on quality workmanship and excellent customer service. You will work both independently and as part of a supportive team, covering customer sites within your allocated area.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out routine servicing and reactive maintenance
- Diagnose and repair system faults
- Commission equipment following training
- Represent the business professionally on customer sites
- Maintain accurate service reports and documentation
- Use mobile devices and systems for job management
- Deliver high standards of customer care
- Participate in the on-call rota
- Work closely with senior engineers and management
Requirements
- Previous experience in a service, maintenance, or engineering role (preferred)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Confident using smartphones, tablets, and laptops
- Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Full UK Driving Licence (essential)
