Goods In Assistant Monday to Thursday 07:30 – 16:30, Friday 08:00 – 14:15. Reporting to Warehouse & Logistics Manager Pay rate would be around: £27-28K depending on experience. Vanta Staffing High Wycombe have an exciting opportunity to work alongside a long standing client who is a well-established engineering company looking for a Goods in Assistant on a permanent basis. The successful Goods In candidate will already have the following skills to help support our client: – Already work in a supervisory role managing a small team (3-10 employees). – Working in a team environment to achieve goals and deadlines. – A Keen eye for details ensuring all details are matching on paperwork to item. – Knowledge of using Sage 200 or other stock management software – this is desired however, not essential. – Being confident to raise any problems to management i.e following procedures for any items that are not delivered as expected. – Working at multiple locations and understanding issues that may arise from stock movement. – Knowledge of Health and safety – this is a requirement for the role. The main duties for the Goods in Assistant role are as followings: – Loading and unloading lorries/containers safely and efficiently. – Take delivery of materials into the warehouse, check quantity and quality ready for storing. – Moving goods safely between and around different sites. – Assist with daily cycle checks and end of year stock takes. – Palletise goods for wrapping to be sent out. To progress to interview stages for the Goods in Assistant candidates MUST have the following: – Driving licence – this is a requirement for the role. – Experience of working in a goods in/warehouse – Forklift (Counterbalance). – Knowledge of using Sage 200 or other stock management software – this is desired however, not essential. – Knowledge of health and safety.
