Food production specialist seeks a detail-obsessed, analytical Finance & Supply Chain foodie to join their small, ambitious team and be the operational & commercial glue of their artisan food manufacturing business.
Reporting directly to the MD, you will take ownership of the company's finances and take a lead on planning & purchasing across the supply chain.
The successful Finance and Supply Chain Manager duties will involve:
- Maintain and manage financial records including receipt, input and production of the day-to-day commercial documents overseeing bookkeeping protocols.
- Ownership and production of management accounts in prescribed P&L and balance sheet formats and present the narrative of their analysis at monthly investor meetings.
- Take ownership of budget & forecast models for internal and external scrutiny.
- Oversee payroll, create and maintain HR policies.
- Provide sales analysis and associated systems to support business development.
- Provide costings for both made in-house and brought-in products, track variances and drive improvements.
- Provide all other ad-hoc reports, analysis, performance data and record keeping as required to improve business performance.
- Liaise with internal departments to gauge forecast and plan effectively.
- Address demand and supply related issues in a timely manner.
