Job Description
Class 1 Driver
Vanta Staffing Reading are recruiting for a Class 1 Driver to work for our client based in the Newbury area. This is an exciting opportunity to take the next step in the career and join a well- established and successful team.
Requirements of a Class 1 Driver:
- Cat C+E Driving licence (Minimum 2 years experience)
- Have a valid CPC and digi tacho
- RO-RO (Wagon & Drag) experience
- No more than 6 points (No DR or IN)
Details:
- Salary: £40,000
- Working hours: Monday to Friday (07.30am – 16.30)
- Location: Newbury
- Duration: Temp to Perm
Role of a Class 1 Driver:
- Collect, deliver and exchange RO-RO bins, travelling between the clients and the 3 operational sites
- Following driving routes provided by the Transport Department
- Complete vehicle checks
- Being flexible and able to complete runs safely
