The Role
- Overseeing the day-to-day transport operation, supporting drivers and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the shift.
- Supervising and managing a team of drivers.
- Coordinating daily transport operations.
- Managing driver schedules and workloads.
- Monitoring driver performance and attendance.
- Ensuring all transport activities are carried out safely and compliantly.
- Dealing with operational issues, delays and breakdowns.
- Liaising with drivers and internal teams throughout the shift.
