Vansco Ltd are a family-run business based in Southampton. We are looking for an experienced mechanic to work alongside our Workshop controller, 2 x Mechanics and a Junior. Vansco are a used van dealership; all the work carried out in our workshop is for our own internal use and not customer jobs. The job is from 8am - 5pm daily with an hour lunch break, and there is also plenty of opportunity for overtime.
The ideal candidate:
- Must be Level 3 Qualified.
- Minimum of 4 years experience.
- Applicants must be able to work independently and as part of the team.
- Applicants must be able to work quickly and efficiently on servicing and repairs on vehicles up to 3.5T.
- Servicing, diagnosing and resolving both electrical and mechanical faults.
- Identifying faults and rectifying in a timely manner.
- Maintain a good level of efficiency without compromising quality.
- Accurately and skillfully undertake the repair and servicing of LCVs.
- Daily inspections of vehicles.
- Preventative maintenance.
This is a full-time position working 5 days per week, Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm with the option of weekend work.
