Salary: From £26,500 per year depending on experience

Hours: Monday to Friday, 36.25 hours per week (between 8am and 4pm)

Let’s Talk about the Role

As a Strategic Credit Controller, you will play a key role in managing some of VF’s largest and most strategically important customer accounts. This position offers the opportunity to work cross-functionally and build strong stakeholder relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Managing the day-to-day running of high-value, high-volume customer accounts, ensuring effective account oversight.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders through regular communication via Microsoft Teams, Zoom, email, and customer portals.
  • Collaborating closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and Finance.
  • Identifying, highlighting, and escalating key risks, issues, and opportunities that may impact account performance or cash collection.
  • Taking ownership of account performance by proactively driving solutions, resolving disputes, and supporting cash collection.

  • Financial and commercial awareness.
  • Strong IT and systems proficiency, including advanced Microsoft Excel skills and the ability to work confidently with data from multiple sources.
  • Previous experience in Credit Control, Accounts Receivable, Finance, or a similar customer-focused role.
