VF Corporation, the global fashion and retail company, is looking for a new HR Officer to join our team and be based at our UK Distribution Centre in Bardon, Leicestershire. VF is a global apparel company connecting people to the lifestyles they cherish through our family of iconic brands. At the heart of our journey lies our purpose: We power movements of sustainable and active lifestyles for the betterment of people and our planet. This purpose unites us and guides how we work, collaborate, and grow together.

Let’s Talk About the Role

As a HR Officer within the People Services team, you will play a key role in supporting the smooth delivery of day‐to‐day HR operations across the business. Working collaboratively with HR Generalists, HR Business Partners, Payroll, and key stakeholders, you’ll help deliver a consistent, high‐quality people experience. While the role is based at a specific site, it supports distribution centre, office‐based, and retail teams across multiple locations. Success in this role relies on a team‐first, collaborative approach, contributing to shared workloads and working closely with colleagues to support the wider business rather than operating in isolation.

How You Will Make a Difference

  • Working collaboratively as part of the People Services team, sharing responsibility for workloads and supporting VF colleagues across the DC, office‐based, and retail environments as required.
  • Handling day‐to‐day associate and manager queries, either in person or via the Workday case management tool, relating to contracts, benefits, people policies, and general HR queries, in line with agreed SLAs.
  • Managing employee lifecycle activities, including onboarding new starters, processing contractual changes, and supporting offboarding leavers for all departments.
  • Assisting with the coordination and administration of Occupational Health referrals and assessments.
  • Handling employee data and HR records accurately and confidentially, in line with GDPR requirements and VF data protection standards.
  • Completing ad‐hoc and routine HR tasks to support the effective day‐to‐day running of the People Services function and ensure a consistent service is delivered across the business.
  • When required supporting time and attendance activities using Protime, including daily system checks, granting rights of use, processing changes to work schedules, and reporting accurate information to Payroll (full system training provided).

Skills for Success

You should be someone who can demonstrate the following skills and ways of working:

  • Acting as a confident system user using tools such as Workday, Protime, Smartsheet, and Microsoft Office to manage workflows, trackers, and data accurately and efficiently.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to build effective working relationships.
  • Experience working in a similar HR administrative or operational support role.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively; hands‐on, proactive, and comfortable working with autonomy.
  • CIPD Level 3 or 5 qualification (desirable).
  • Experience working within a large, global organisation, where governance, process, and consistency are key (advantageous).

What’s in It for You!

We’re in the business of unleashing human potential, driven by the ideas, energy, and commitment of our people. That’s why we offer a comprehensive benefits package that supports mental, physical, and financial wellbeing.

  • A supportive, feedback‐based culture where respect and integrity guide everything we do.
  • An inclusive, international environment where people of diverse backgrounds and lifestyles thrive.
  • The opportunity to be part of iconic lifestyle brands within a multi‐brand, multi‐country organisation.
  • Subsidised canteen and breakout areas with complimentary hot drinks.
  • Health Shield membership and access to wellbeing initiatives, including an on‐site gym.
  • 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays and your birthday off.
  • Smart pension scheme with 8% employer contribution.
  • Free, secure on‐site parking.
  • A discount card offering 50% off all VF brands.
