Client: Established M&E Contractor leading the way throughout Northern Ireland and Ireland for half a century. They work across various sectors including residential, commercial, healthcare, education and industrial. Overview of Role: The business has a great opportunity for a Mechanical Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis, based in their Dublin office with site visits in and around Dublin. The Mechanical Contracts Manager will be responsible for overseeing multiple projects at any given time; projects are varied across multiple sectors.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver multiple projects simultaneously within agreed scope, schedule and budget while delivering a great quality product to our customers.
- Create project initiation documentation, project budgets, project programs and relevant H&S documentation.
- Ensuring full compliance to all relevant statutory and regulatory guidance standards.
- Providing reports for meetings with managers.
- Maintain close working relationships with clients, stakeholders, sub-contractors and internal teams to manage progress, challenges, and resolutions.
- Contract supervision including issuing purchase orders, applications for payment and variation control.
Qualifications Required:
- Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications.
- Extensive experience working as a Mechanical Contracts Manager.
- The ability to work under pressure to meet set deadlines.
- Able to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Strong understanding and knowledge of various HVAC systems.
- Sound understanding and knowledge of mechanical co-ordination and building modelling.
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team.
- Commercially minded with a strong understanding of budgeting, cost control and financial analysis.
- Good IT skills especially with MS Office software.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to translate technical concepts.
- Safe Pass / CSR Card.
- Full clean driving licence.
