VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a major client with the recruitment of an experienced Transport Operations Manager to join an experienced and dynamic team based in Craigavon .
Salary: £50,500 – £60,000
Hours: Mon-Fri 09:00-17:00
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement transport strategies that align with the overall supply chain objectives.
- Manage daily transport operations, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.
- Lead, mentor, and motivate a team of transport staff to achieve operational excellence.
- Communicate effectively with internal teams, customers, and suppliers to ensure smooth operations.
- Monitor performance metrics to identify areas for improvement in efficiency and service quality.
- Maintain compliance with all relevant regulations and company policies related to transport operations.
- Utilise Excel for data analysis and reporting to support decision-making processes.
- Organise training sessions for staff to enhance skills and knowledge in transport management.
- Be designated as the Transport Manager on our Operator’s License and ensure the license is in place.
Essential Criteria:
