My client, a well-established software solutions provider in the North West, is hiring a Business Analyst to join an experienced delivery team. This is a key role within an existing team, focused on analysing, shaping, and delivering web-based software solutions for enterprise clients across regulated industries.

As a Business Analyst, you will lead requirements gathering activities, working closely with clients and internal delivery teams to ensure solutions are clearly defined, accurately scoped, and successfully delivered. You will play a central role throughout the project lifecycle, from initial analysis through to post-implementation review.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Leading client workshops and project calls
  • Producing clear and detailed requirements documentation
  • Supporting project planning and estimation
  • Contributing to continuous improvement through post-project reviews
  • Building strong client relationships
  • Ensuring information security best practices are adhered to at all times

The Person

  • Degree educated (or equivalent) in Business, Management, Computer Science, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of 2 years' commercial experience as a Business Analyst or in a role heavily involved in software analysis and delivery
  • Strong experience producing documentation using Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Confident communicator with the ability to engage internal and external stakeholders
  • Analytical and solution-focused mindset
  • Methodical, organised, and detail-oriented approach
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and proactively
  • Strong team player with a collaborative attitude
  • Understanding of information security best practices (e.g. ISO-aligned environments)

Desirable Experience

  • Professional qualifications in Insurance and/or Project Management
  • Experience working within the insurance or financial services sector
  • Experience working within a supplier or consultancy environment
  • Exposure to servicing enterprise-scale clients
