VANRATH are delighted to be assisting a major Communications Company with the Recruitment of a Senior Communcaitons Associate to join their growing and dynamic team at their Belfast Office.
Salary - £35,000 - £40,000 + Negotiable depending on Experience + Fantastic Benefits
Hours - Mon-Fri-09:00-17:00 - WFH on Friday
Skills & Experience required
The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate:
- Minimum one year's experience for Client Executive / two years' experience for Senior Client Executive of PR, public affairs and/or digital communications in an agency or in-house setting essential.
- In-depth knowledge and understanding of the media landscape in Northern Ireland is essential (and Republic of Ireland highly desirable) with proven track record of securing strong media coverage and online reach/engagement for campaigns.
- Experience in playing a key supporting role in the servicing of client accounts - including management and activation of campaigns, drafting press releases for media and leading on social media and influencer partnerships.
- Experience in public affairs is desirable, with a strong knowledge of the local government and political landscape in Northern Ireland.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- The ability to work in an extremely fast-paced environment, working on multiple campaigns and projects at any given time.
- Eagerness to learn and progress, with driven by hard work and the desire to exceed expectations.
- A degree in any discipline at a minimum classification of 2:1.
