They are predominantly a fitout contractor but also carry out new build projects. Currently they are looking for a Site Manager that has a strong background working on new build projects. They work collaboratively with their clients to ensure efficient project delivery and minimum disruptions to operations. They have a flexible and innovative can-do approach which allows them to continually exceed client expectations and this has led to an enviable portfolio of repeat business. Due to continued growth the business has a great opportunity for a Site Manager to join them on a permanent basis, based in Toomebridge and working on projects across the UK. Key Responsibilities: Responsibility for the supervising and management of all works on the project site Ensure all Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to on site at all times Co-ordinate and supervise all persons on site including subcontractors and site labour Co-ordinate and review the project progress in accordance with the programme and provide progress reports to management Liaise with subcontractors, consultants and all other personnel on site to ensure the site is adequately resourced Carry out weekly subcontract meetings Liaise with design team in respect to construction matters Liaise with procurement team in respect to material procurement Prepare site reports for management Liaise with the client to ensure expectations are being met throughout the project Ensure the highest quality is maintained throughout the project Carry out toolbox talks as and when required Resolve day to day issues in a timely and efficient manner to ensure programme is maintained Communicate with the commercial and operational team to advise of progress and changes To perform the role in accordance with the Company’s policies and procedures Adopt a Continuous Improvement approach to processes and practices Contribute towards an overall company culture of sharing information and knowledge where there is a focus on solving issues as a team within a ‘can-do’ attitude and removing barriers to success The Ideal Person: Track record working as a No.1 Site Manager New build experience Recent relevant experience in a fast-paced busy environment Previous experience of working in a Construction and / or Fit out company Excellent IT skills especially Microsoft Office Proven ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written) to build relationships with colleagues, customers and other stakeholders Have extensive knowledge of construction practices that can be used on site to analyse the design and propose cost saving measures Strong working knowledge of Health and Safety legislation for the Construction industry Attention to detail Ability to work effectively both alone and in a team environment A proactive and flexible working approach with the ability to adapt to changing situations and duties Continually seeking ways to improve, adapt and innovate while meeting compliance and commercial requirements Hold a CSR card and relevant certificates such as First Aid For further information on this vacancy, or any other Built Environment job in Belfast or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact Robert Apps for a confidential discussion Skills: Site Manager Fitout Construction Interior Fitout Refurbishment Benefits: DOE + excellent benefits packa
