About you
- Accountancy qualification from a recognised body (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
- Previous tax experience, ideally with corporate or indirect taxes
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; familiarity with Google Workspace is a plus
- Strong analytical and organisational skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication skills, able to liaise effectively with external providers and internal teams
What you'll do
- Support the corporate tax and VAT/GST return processes in collaboration with outsourced service providers
- Provide tax input for financial statements, including disclosures and auditor queries
- Assist with quarterly and annual tax provisions, ensuring accurate documentation and reconciliations
- Lead and develop junior team members, offering guidance and mentorship
- Contribute to tax planning initiatives, research projects, and compliance activities such as UK corporate tax and transfer pricing
- Respond to tax authority notices, supporting strategies to minimise liabilities and addressing controversial issues tactfully
