VANRATH is delighted to be working in partnership with a well-known business to recruit a technically strong Senior Financial Accountant to join the growing finance team. Reporting to the Financial Manager.

What you'll do
- Lead and manage month-end close processes, including journals, balance sheet reconciliations, and delivery of accurate monthly reporting packs
- Produce financial reports and support senior leadership reporting, ensuring compliance with IFRS and relevant accounting standards
- Prepare technical calculations (e.g. impairment/bad debt provisions) and ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data
- Support the preparation of annual financial statements, including audit schedules and liaison with external auditors
- Maintain strong financial controls while supporting cash forecasting, consolidated reporting, and continuous process improvement
About you
- Fully qualified accountant (ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent) with strong financial accounting and reporting experience
- Confident making and explaining technical accounting judgements within complex environments
- Strong Excel and analytical skills, with the ability to interpret and present financial data clearly
- Proven experience within a finance function (industry, practice, or public sector) with relevant post-qualified experience
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively
