Are you looking for a Senior Estimator role? Interested in working for a well established Main Contractor? VANRATH are recruiting a Senior Estimator to work for a leading Main Contractor that works on a diverse portfolio of projects across multiple sectors, based in either Belfast or Newry.

Remuneration: £70,000 - £80,000 DOE + package

Client: Well established Main Contractor with decades of experience delivering a diverse range of new build, refurbishment and fit-out projects across various sectors including education, healthcare, residential, commercial and community sectors. The business works alongside public bodies, private clients and housing associations with trust relationships and repeat business built on reliability, consistent disciplined and competent delivery.

The Senior Estimator will build and maintain strong working relationships with clients, supply chain, workshop and contract teams and maintain good communications throughout the tender process. This is a great opportunity for a Senior Estimator to join a company that continues to invest in its people supporting long term growth and development, whilst working on a variety of exciting projects.

The Ideal Person:

  • Degree qualified or other relevant qualifications
  • Extensive experience and proven track record as an Estimator
  • Main contractor background
  • Strong experience working on a range of projects across various sectors
  • The ability to plan, organise and prioritise and work to meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to interpret drawings accurately
  • Proficient in calculating material quantities, labour hours, overall project costs and be familiar with estimating software
  • Proficient IT skills
