The finance function is currently going through a period of transition, and the support of a senior finance professional is required to take ownership of the financial reporting function.

This is an opportunity to join on an interim contract to cover maternity and will be for a duration of 9-12 months.

About you

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
  • Solid understanding of financial processes, controls and reporting frameworks
  • Strong team player with the ability to contribute to a collaborative finance environment
  • High IT literacy (MS Excel)
  • Available at short notice

What you'll do

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Detailed variance analysis and commentary for senior management
  • Support for balance sheet reconciliations and accounting controls.
  • Management of internal recharges, accruals and prepayments, ensuring accurate financial reporting.
  • Production of annual budgets and periodic forecasts, working closely with operational & finance teams.
  • Delivery of variance analysis with clear insights and recommendations.
  • Monitoring and review of current accounting systems and processes to identify improvement opportunities.
