VANRATH has partnered with a long-term client who is the leading industrial electrical distributor, seeking to grow the internal sales team by adding a sales executive that has good knowledge of electrical wholesale.

Salary: Highly competitive basic wage + bonus

Key activities:

  • Sales Contribution: Engaged with customers through trade counter, phone, and email to provide product information and support.
  • Handled technical enquiries on a wide range of other product lines.
  • Matched customer requirements with appropriate product solutions.
  • Prepared quotations and processed project enquiries and orders in a timely manner.
  • Liaised with manufacturers to source and clarify details on specific products.
  • Carried out order selection, checking, and assembly from the warehouse when needed.
  • Delivered ongoing customer service, keeping clients updated on order status and goods arrival.

Team Contribution:

  • Supported colleagues across different departments to enhance service quality and overall efficiency.
  • Took part in team meetings, training sessions, and development initiatives.
  • Suggested and implemented improvements to streamline office processes and workflows.

Ideally you'll have:

  • At least 1 year's experience in a comparable role.
  • Solid electrical knowledge/background or heavy on technical/technical sales.
  • Confident communicator with strong verbal and written skills.
  • Strong problem-solving ability and a proactive approach to tasks.
  • Proficient IT skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office.
