About You
You will be an experienced QA professional with a strong background in test automation and a passion for delivering high-quality software. Ideally, you will have:
- Extensive experience in QA automation within Agile environments
- Strong hands-on experience with Playwright, Selenium, Cypress or WebDriverIO
- Strong programming experience in Java, JavaScript or TypeScript
- Experience designing and maintaining scalable automation frameworks
- Strong API, functional and end-to-end testing experience

- Practical experience with BDD frameworks such as Cucumber
- Knowledge of performance, load and stress testing
- Experience working with Agile or SAFe methodologies

- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- A proactive approach to identifying risks and improving quality
- Experience mentoring or supporting other QA engineers
- Experience within financial services, trading platforms or capital markets would be highly advantageous, as would knowledge of FIX/API, AWS, microservices or serverless environments.

- Design and evolve robust, scalable automation frameworks using modern tools such as Playwright
- Integrate automated testing into CI/CD pipelines
- Drive shift-left testing and API-first automation across Agile delivery teams
- Work closely with developers, product owners and business analysts to define effective test strategies
- Apply BDD and TDD principles to improve software quality
- Use AI tools such as Copilot and ChatGPT to enhance testing efficiency and automation workflows
- Identify performance issues and recommend improvements
- Champion quality engineering practices across the wider team
- Contribute to code reviews, unit testing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Mentor and coach other members of the QA team
- Take ownership of testing deliverables, risks and technical challenges
