VANRATH are recruiting a Project Planner to work on various Construction projects for a leading Main Contractor based in Belfast. They carry out new build, refurbishment and fit-out projects across the UK within multiple sectors including hospitality, leisure, education, residential and high residential. Summary of the Role: To assist in the preparation of programmes (tender/construction) and the distribution of drawings and information to site construction teams. Responsibilities Include: Assist & prepare Tender Programme into Master Construction Programme Liaise with Planning Manager / Construction Director / Contract Manager to finalise Master Programmes and produce stage / section programmes as required Report against Master Programme to Contract Directors and Senior Management Modify Master Programme to Mitigate against delays Advise Site Management of Programme Slippage Prepare Tender Programmes and Method Statements as required Assist in the preparation of project logistics and method statements Periodically review key projects to ensure programme compliance Maintain a database of programmes on Gateway Establish, maintain and build good relations with clients as well as their representatives Ensure waste minimisation is applied in the administration, co-ordination and planning of the project in line with the Company’s Waste Minimisation and Management Policy. Maintain relevant quality, environmental health and control procedures in accordance with ISO 9001and ISO 14001 and OHSAS 45001 Be aware of and comply with the Company’s Health & Safety Policy Fulfil company CPD requirements undertaking all relevant training and development activities as required.
