VANRATH is pleased to assist a major engineering company in recruiting a Production Operative. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with a reputable company.
Location: Office based in BT35 – Newry
Working Hours: Monday to Friday (6.45am – 3.45pm) – No weekends
Salary: Negotiable, with growth opportunities and additional benefits from a reputable company
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify, communicate, and implement continuous improvement opportunities and evaluate their effectiveness.
- Operate machinery as instructed to process components/products to meet production requirements.
- Move and position components/products using overhead cranes or other lifting equipment according to instructions.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained throughout the production process within the internal quality system.
- Clean and maintain tools and equipment to ensure safety and peak production condition.
- Adhere to health & safety standards in collaboration with the Quality Manager and promote a safe working environment with good housekeeping.
- Perform any other duties within your capability as determined by the Operational Manager.
