This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Personal Tax Associate Director to join a growing international platform and play a key role in developing a sophisticated private client advisory offering.
The role would suit an ambitious tax professional who enjoys working with high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs, business owners and internationally mobile private clients, and who is looking for genuine progression towards Partnership.
The Role
This is a senior advisory position with significant scope to develop client relationships, lead complex advisory assignments and contribute to the continued growth of the Personal Tax offering. You will work with an impressive portfolio of private clients, often alongside their businesses, family offices and wider professional advisers. There is also considerable scope to shape the role around your own technical strengths, client interests and longer term career ambitions.
What You Will Do
- Lead the delivery of sophisticated Personal Tax advisory services to high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs and business owners
- Advise on complex UK personal tax matters including income tax, capital gains tax, inheritance tax and succession planning
- Provide advice to internationally mobile individuals and clients with cross border interests
- Develop trusted relationships with high value private clients and their wider advisory teams
- Lead complex advisory projects and manage multiple client engagements
- Work collaboratively with Corporate Tax, International Tax, Transaction Services and other specialist teams
- Identify opportunities to provide additional value to existing clients and contribute to business development
- Take a leading role in developing the Personal Tax offering and wider client base
- Mentor and develop junior members of the team
- Work closely with Partners and senior leadership on the strategic development of the practice

Requirements
- ACA, CTA or equivalent professional qualification
- Significant UK Personal Tax experience within professional services
- Strong experience advising high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs or private clients
- Proven experience across complex Personal Tax advisory matters
- Strong technical knowledge of UK tax
- Experience managing client relationships and leading advisory assignments
- Commercially minded with strong business development capability
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Ambition to progress towards Partnership and play a significant role in developing the wider practice
