VANRATH are delighted to be assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation with the recruitment of a Personal Assistant to join their team based in Belfast. This is a Full-Time Monday - Friday position, 37.5 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9 - 5.

Responsibilities:

  • Draft letters, manage emails, and maintain records.
  • Organise diaries and ensure readiness for meetings.
  • Prepare documents and reports using Microsoft Office.
  • Manage communications with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Organise meetings, agendas, and follow-up actions.
  • Supervise and delegate work to junior staff.
  • Manage office systems, filing, and supplies.
  • Arrange travel, accommodation, and verify invoices.
  • Provide hospitality for visitors and events.

Requirements:

  • 5 GCSEs (or equivalent), including English and Math.
  • 2+ years of administrative/secretarial experience, including Microsoft Office.
  • Full UK driving license (or equivalent transportation if unable to drive).
  • Word/Text Processing certification.
  • Ability to take minutes, delegate tasks, and use initiative.
