- Proven experience processing payroll within medium to large organisations
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, Vlookups, and graphs
- Good understanding of employment law, statutory entitlements, and payroll legislation
- Demonstrated confidentiality and data protection awareness
What you'll do
- Process weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payrolls accurately and on time
- Ensure compliance with statutory legislation and company policies
- Review payroll data, including pay elements, deductions, and statutory payments
- Support payroll reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
- Maintain employee holiday, absence, and leave records
- Assist with payroll system improvements and project implementations
- Generate payroll reports and respond to employee queries promptly
- Support the Time and Attendance system and provide training where needed
