What you\’ll do

  • Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs
  • Support the submission of European VAT and tax returns, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions
  • Help with month-end close activities, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
  • Work with the wider finance team to maintain and improve internal financial controls
  • Liaise with external advisors and auditors to support regulatory and compliance activities
  • Get involved in budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing financial data and analysis
  • Contribute to ongoing finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support operational decisions

About you

You should be Part- Qualified and working towards a chartered qualification and have;

  • Part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
  • Experience in a finance or accounting role (practice or industry)
  • Exposure to European VAT/tax compliance is highly desirable
  • Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of accounting software
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and keen to grow within a commercial setting
  • Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
