What you\’ll do
- Assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and financial reporting packs
- Support the submission of European VAT and tax returns, ensuring compliance across jurisdictions
- Help with month-end close activities, including journals, accruals, and reconciliations
- Work with the wider finance team to maintain and improve internal financial controls
- Liaise with external advisors and auditors to support regulatory and compliance activities
- Get involved in budgeting and forecasting cycles, providing financial data and analysis
- Contribute to ongoing finance projects and continuous improvement initiatives
- Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support operational decisions
About you
You should be Part- Qualified and working towards a chartered qualification and have;
- Part-qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA)
- Experience in a finance or accounting role (practice or industry)
- Exposure to European VAT/tax compliance is highly desirable
- Strong Excel skills and working knowledge of accounting software
- Detail-oriented, proactive, and keen to grow within a commercial setting
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
