Overview of the Company
Our client is a diverse and growing group of businesses operating across media, print, digital and creative services. With a number of specialist brands within the Group, the business delivers trusted content, high-quality print solutions, creative services and innovative marketing solutions to a wide range of customers and audiences. As part of continued growth, they are seeking a proactive, creative and commercially driven Marketing Manager to manage and develop marketing activity across the Group. This is a hands-on role covering digital, brand, content, campaigns and events. Working closely with Commercial, Editorial and Digital teams, you will help strengthen brand presence, grow audiences and support commercial performance across the business.

Necessary Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Digital Marketing, Business or a related discipline
- 3+ years' experience in a marketing, digital marketing or eCommerce role
- Experience developing and delivering marketing campaigns
- Strong digital marketing knowledge across websites, SEO, email, social media and paid campaigns
- Experience managing and optimising websites and eCommerce platforms
- Strong understanding of digital customer journeys and conversion optimisation
- Experience with Google Analytics/GA4, Google Tag Manager and Google Ads
- Strong SEO knowledge and experience using SEO tools
- Experience with email marketing platforms such as Klaviyo
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to interpret performance data
- Excellent project management and organisational skills
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Highly analytical with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects within a fast-paced environment

- Experience managing marketing activity across multiple brands or business units
- Knowledge of subscription-based products and recurring revenue models

Job Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver marketing plans and campaigns across the Group's brands
- Support the growth of the customer subscription base through targeted acquisition, engagement and retention activity
- Manage marketing activity for key consumer-facing brands, with a focus on subscriptions, audience engagement and brand awareness
- Manage the Group's awards programme, including planning, promotion and delivery
- Develop and manage digital marketing activity across relevant channels and platforms
- Manage the Group's website activity, ensuring content is engaging, optimised, up to date and aligned with commercial objectives
- Provide the Commercial team with high-quality marketing materials, content and insights to support sales activity
- Work closely with Commercial, Editorial and Digital teams to develop and deliver integrated campaigns
- Monitor marketing performance and use data to refine campaigns, improve results and maximise ROI
- Identify emerging digital trends, technologies and marketing opportunities
- Maintain a strong understanding of competitor activity, customer behaviour and wider market trends
- Identify opportunities to improve brand visibility, audience engagement and commercial performance
- Support the marketing requirements of the Group's individual businesses and brands
- Ensure the Group's value proposition is communicated consistently across internal and external channels
- Manage multiple marketing projects and initiatives from concept through to delivery
- Manage external suppliers, agencies and partners where required
- Support the wider business with marketing insight, recommendations and new initiatives
