About you
- Proven experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance professional
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, producing monthly management accounts, and accounting standards
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Proficiency in Sage, and payroll systems like Bright HR
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organisational abilities
- Strong communication skills, capable of working with stakeholders at all levels
What you'll do
- Oversee the accounts team responsible for reconciliations, accounts payable/receivable, and commission recording
- Produce monthly management accounts, cash flow forecasts, and KPI analysis
- Collaborate on budget planning, monthly forecasting, and profitability analysis
- Manage bank reconciliations for client and office accounts, ensuring segregation and accuracy
- Handle payroll processing, including staff expenses, PAYE, NI, pensions, and bonus calculations
- Ensure compliance with FCA regulations related to client money accounts and produce mandated reports
- Manage and optimise Sage and Open GI systems, supporting ad hoc financial reporting and projects
- Participate in strategic meetings and support due diligence processes for acquisitions and investor reporting
