VANRATH has partnered with a long-term client who is the leading industrial electrical distributor, seeking to grow the internal sales team by adding a sales and account executive that has good knowledge of electrical wholesale.
Salary: £33,000 - £36,000 basic wage + bonus
Key activities:
- Sales Contribution: Engaged with customers through trade counter, phone, and email to provide product information and support.
- Handled technical enquiries on a wide range of other product lines.
- Matched customer requirements with appropriate product solutions.
- Prepared quotations and processed project enquiries and orders in a timely manner.
- Liaised with manufacturers to source and clarify details on specific products.
- Carried out order selection, checking, and assembly from the warehouse when needed.
- Delivered ongoing customer service, keeping clients updated on order status and goods arrival.
Team Contribution:
- Supported colleagues across different departments to enhance service quality and overall efficiency.
- Took part in team meetings, training sessions, and development initiatives.
- Suggested and implemented improvements to streamline office processes and workflows.
Ideally you'll have:
- At least 1 year's experience in a comparable role.
