About you
- Significant senior-level finance and accounting experience, ideally within hospitality
- Previous experience as a Financial Controller or senior finance leader
- Strong commercial acumen with excellent financial analysis skills
- Proven track record managing budgets, forecasts, and financial reporting
- Excellent leadership, coaching, and team development abilities
- Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Experience with hotel finance systems and accounting software
- Qualifications such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent (preferred)
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic hospitality environment
What you'll do
- Lead the preparation of management accounts, P&L statements, and financial reports
- Partner with operational leaders to drive profitability and meet business targets
- Deliver accurate budgets, forecasts, and insightful financial analysis
- Monitor performance metrics and provide strategic commentary on key trends
- Develop and maintain robust financial controls, policies, and procedures
- Ensure compliance with statutory, regulatory, and company requirements
- Oversee the annual budgeting process and support strategic planning
- Present financial results and KPIs to senior stakeholders
- Manage external audits and liaise with relevant authorities
- Oversee payroll and labour cost management
