About you:
- Relevant construction, building services, engineering, or trade qualification
- Strong working knowledge of construction quality assurance and technical compliance
- Experience working within construction, property maintenance, or building services environments
- Demonstrable experience carrying out site inspections, audits, and quality checks
- Ability to interpret drawings, technical specifications, and construction documentation
- Strong understanding of health & safety legislation and CDM Regulations
- Experience identifying defects, non-conformances, and workmanship issues
- Excellent reporting, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-focused approach
- Ability to manage multiple inspections, projects, and technical issues simultaneously
What you'll do:
- Carry out regular and ad-hoc on-site inspections across building, mechanical, and electrical works
- Ensure works are completed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, contract requirements, and statutory standards
- Identify defects, non-conformances, and poor workmanship, ensuring corrective actions are implemented effectively
- Monitor contractor performance, workmanship quality, and compliance across all disciplines
- Support commissioning, testing, and handover activities to ensure systems operate as intended
- Produce accurate inspection records, technical reports, and assurance documentation for project stakeholders
- Review contractor method statements, inspection and test plans (ITPs), and technical quality records
- Support risk management processes through early identification of technical and quality risks
- Provide technical advice and assurance reporting to project teams, contractors, and client stakeholders
- Promote high standards of safety, compliance, workmanship, and continuous improvement across all project activities
