Organisation: Large enterprise-level business The Opportunity A large enterprise organisation is seeking an experienced Programme Test Lead to support a major Workday transformation programme.
You will take end-to-end ownership of the programme's testing strategy, planning, governance and delivery.
This will include ensuring that business processes, integrations, data migration, security and reporting are fully tested ahead of a successful go-live.
Acting as the central point of coordination, you will work closely with the internal Programme Team, System Integrator, Workday specialists, business stakeholders and third-party vendors.
You will provide independent assurance around solution quality, programme readiness and testing risks.
Key Responsibilities Define and manage the overall programme test strategy, plans and governance.
Lead testing across multiple Workday modules and associated systems.
Coordinate system, integration, regression, data migration and user acceptance testing.
Manage testing dependencies across Finance, Procurement, IT and wider business functions.
Oversee defect management, reporting, prioritisation and resolution.
Coordinate internal teams, implementation partners and third-party suppliers.
Provide clear reporting on testing progress, quality, risks and go-live readiness.
Ensure appropriate test evidence, controls and documentation are maintained.
Support business stakeholders throughout UAT and operational-readiness activities.
Essential Experience Previous experience as a Programme Test Lead, Test Manager or similar.
Strong experience leading testing for a large, multi-module enterprise system deployment.
Workday implementation or transformation experience is highly desirable.
Good understanding of Finance and Procurement processes or systems.
Experience managing testing across integrations, data migration, security and reporting.
Strong stakeholder-management experience across multiple business functions.
Experience working with system integrators and third-party vendors.
Excellent planning, governance, risk-management and communication skills.
