VANRATH are delighted to be working with a well-established accountancy practice in East Belfast who are looking to appoint an experienced Part-Qualified or Fully Qualified Accountant. This is a flexible opportunity, with the role available on either a full-time or 3.5-day week basis, with flexibility around working hours. The firm offers a friendly and established working environment, a varied client portfolio and the opportunity to take on greater responsibility over time. The Role You will work closely with the existing team, managing a varied portfolio of clients and delivering a range of accounts and general practice services. The role would suit an accountant who enjoys the variety of practice and is looking for a long-term opportunity where they can build strong client relationships and become increasingly involved in the wider running and development of the practice. What You Will Do Preparation of accounts for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies Preparation and submission of VAT returns Preparation of personal and corporate tax computations and returns Management of a portfolio of clients Liaising directly with clients and handling day-to-day queries Assisting with year-end accounts and financial reporting Building and maintaining strong client relationships Supporting the wider team and junior staff where required Becoming increasingly involved in the development and day-to-day running of the practice What's in It for You?
