VANRATH is working with a well-established Belfast organisation to appoint a HR Advisor. This varied role provides the opportunity to support the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on employee relations, recruitment, and HR policy development within a collaborative and progressive environment.

Salary & Benefits

  • £34,000 FTE

About You

  • CIPD Level 5 qualified or equivalent relevant experience
  • Strong understanding of UK and Northern Ireland employment law and HR best practice
  • Experience managing employee relations cases from start to finish
  • Confident in recruitment, onboarding, and HR policy implementation
  • Familiar with HR information systems
  • Excellent communication, organisational and interpersonal skills
  • Able to manage sensitive matters professionally and prioritise effectively

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain accurate and compliant employee records across HR systems, supporting reporting, payroll, and informed decision-making
  • Draft and issue HR documentation including contracts, letters, and reports, ensuring consistency and compliance
  • Provide clear, practical HR advice and guidance to managers and employees on policies and procedures
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR and employment legislation across Northern Ireland, Great Britain, and the Republic of Ireland
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment and onboarding, delivering a smooth and positive candidate experience
  • Act as a first point of contact for HR queries, offering timely and solution-focused support
  • Support payroll and benefits processes, ensuring accuracy, confidentiality, and prompt resolution of queries
  • Contribute to learning and development activity, including training coordination and continuous improvement of HR programmes
