The Delivery Manager will be responsible for managing delivery relationships with assigned clients and ensuring the successful execution of projects, change requests, and delivery initiatives. Acting as the primary delivery contact, you will work closely with customers and internal teams to ensure requirements are clearly understood, appropriately prioritised, and delivered in line with agreed expectations. Working across Product, Engineering, and Data functions, you will play a key role in coordinating delivery activities, managing risks, and maintaining clear communication throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

  • Customer Relationship Management
    • Act as the primary delivery contact for assigned clients
    • Build strong relationships with key customer stakeholders
    • Ensure customer priorities and requirements are understood and communicated internally
  • Change Requests & Delivery Planning
    • Capture and translate change requests into structured delivery requirements
    • Ensure requests are clearly defined with objectives, constraints, and business context
    • Collaborate with Product teams to refine and prioritise requirements
    • Contribute to delivery planning, timelines, milestones, and resource allocation
    • Maintain accurate delivery tracking using project management tools
  • Project & Delivery Execution
    • Coordinate delivery activities across Product, Engineering, and Data teams
    • Monitor progress against agreed timelines and priorities
    • Manage dependencies and facilitate effective cross-team collaboration
    • Contribute to the continuous improvement of delivery processes and practices
  • Risk & Issue Management
    • Identify risks, blockers, and dependencies early in the delivery lifecycle
    • Escalate issues where required and support resolution activities
    • Ensure risks and challenges are communicated effectively to both internal and external stakeholders
  • Communication & Reporting
    • Provide regular updates on delivery progress, risks, and next steps
    • Maintain transparency around timelines and expectations
    • Act as a central point of contact for delivery-related queries
  • Governance & Client Engagement
    • Support client governance meetings and delivery reviews
    • Track and communicate delivery commitments
    • Help ensure alignment between customer expectations and delivery capability

Skills & Experience

Essential

  • 1-2 years' experience in a delivery, project management, or client-facing coordination role
  • Experience working within cross-functional teams
  • Experience engaging directly with customers and stakeholders
  • Strong planning, organisation, and prioritisation skills
  • Understanding of Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies
  • Strong risk and issue management capabilities

Desirable

  • Experience using Jira or similar project management tools
  • Experience within insurance, financial services, or software delivery environments
