The Role
- Lead on a broad range of complex commercial property and real estate matters, including:
- High-value acquisitions and disposals
- Commercial development and regeneration projects
- Landlord and tenant matters, including complex lease negotiations
- Property finance and secured lending transactions
- Investment acquisitions, disposals and portfolio management
- Strategic property advice for developers, investors and corporate occupiers
- Work closely with colleagues across the Corporate, Banking and Construction teams to deliver integrated, commercially focused advice that supports clients' wider business objectives.
- Lead major transactions from instruction through to completion
- Build and strengthen long-term client relationships
- Support business development initiatives and identify opportunities for further growth
- Mentor and develop junior lawyers within the team
- Work closely with the Partners to support the continued growth and success of the Real Estate practice.
About You
- Qualified Solicitor with significant experience in Commercial Property / Real Estate law
- Excellent technical knowledge across a broad range of commercial property matters
- Proven experience leading complex, high-value transactions
- Strong commercial awareness with a pragmatic, solutions-focused approach
- Demonstrable experience building trusted client relationships and contributing to business development
- Experience supervising or mentoring junior lawyers
- Collaborative, ambitious and committed to delivering exceptional client service.
