About you
Minimum of 2 years' experience in fleet or transport management Strong understanding of compliance including DVA and HGV O-License regulations Full UK driving licence, ideally Class 2 HGV Commercially driven with a proactive approach towards cost and compliance improvements Excellent organisational and communication skills Ability to manage relationships with suppliers and internal teams What you'll do Manage statutory compliance for all fleet and plant assets, ensuring adherence to regulations and company policies Oversee planned and reactive maintenance, working closely with in-house garages and external suppliers Coordinate breakdown responses to minimise downtime and operational disruption Lead driver performance monitoring, ensuring CPC and driving licence compliance Develop and implement fleet strategies, including technology upgrades and purchase decisions Drive a health and safety culture across all operational activities Report regularly to senior management on fleet performance and improvement initiatives For further information on this job, apply via the link or contact the VANRATH office for a confidential chat today.
